In response to feedback from our members and other California doulas, we understand there is confusion and frustration surrounding the Medi-Cal rollout and the process of becoming a doula provider eligible for reimbursement. To support our community, we are extending free training on how to navigate the Medi-Cal portal and become a recognized provider. Join us to expand your doula practice and create accessible care for the communities you serve.

Join Birthworkers of Color Collective and Stevie Merino, for an in-person PAVE portal training session designed for California Doulas. Learn about the requirements, application process, and get your questions answered.
Note: We're independent of Medi-Cal or DCHS but have successfully guided our collective members through registration to become a doula provider who can get reimbursed by Medi-Cal.
