Work Site: Remote
Max Hours: 40 hours/week ( Mon-Fri ; occasional evenings/weekends)
Term: Temporary, full-time grant funded position until December 31, 2026
Wage: $27.76
Non-Exempt | Benefits Eligible | At-will position
Position Summary:
The Black Perinatal Health Coordinator plays a vital role in the day-to-day delivery and
continuous improvement of BWOCC’s Black Perinatal Health initiatives. Collaborating closely
with the Executive Director, Programs Manager, and Operations Manager, staff, and community
stakeholders, the Coordinator helps design and execute regional program strategies. Strategies
include overseeing client intake and service coordination, fostering community partnerships, and
driving culturally responsive outreach, education, and advocacy efforts. In addition to these
responsibilities, the Coordinator manages program resources, budgets, data collection,
evaluations, and grant-related activities to ensure compliance with funding requirements and
support sustainable growth. Success in this role requires strong program coordination skills,
effective written and verbal communication, experience in community outreach and
engagement, and a demonstrated commitment to racial equity, reproductive justice, and
trauma-informed care.
