The Michigan Doula Advisory Council and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services acknowledge our comprehensive full-spectrum doula training for its quality, inclusivity, and impact. When you join our training program, you'll gain the skills needed to support birthing people through all stages of childbirth.

Detroit, Michigan Doula of Color Training

This Full Spectrum Doula of Color Training is sponsored by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Doula Initiative, training organized by Birthworkers of Color Collective, and facilitated by Stevie Merino.

This is a 4 full day live in-person intensive training dated May 14th - May 17th (full dates 5/14, 5/15, 5/16, 5/17. Trainings is from Thursday - Sunday, from 10am to 5:30pm daily. There will also be additional self-paced virtual learning.
