Make A Difference!

Access to Doula Support
Your donation helps birthing people gain access to doulas that advocate for them to receive equitable access to prenatal care, resources, and positive birthing and postpartum experiences.

Medi-Cal Billing
BWOCC offers essential billing services to Medi-Cal Doula Providers. Our Medi-cal Doula Benefit program connects folks with vital support while ensuring doulas get paid. Your donation will support our billing efforts, so that our Medi-Cal Doulas may continue to be reimbursed for their vital services.

Sustaining our Programs
Your donations will go towards sustaining our various perinatal health programs including; Black Perinatal Health Program, Guam Doula Program, Climate Justice Initiatives, Abortion Doula Program, & more.

Scholarships for
Trainings & Programs
Your donation will allow BWOCC to continue to offer training and program scholarships for the next generation of Doulas of Color. Scholarships create access and help ensure that everyone is able to find a doula that best aligns with them.

Our
Story
Improving perinatal health & wellness for marginalized communities.
Birthworkers of Color Collective was born from the need to challenge systemic racism, medical violence, and erasure in reproductive care. What started as a local community grassroots project in Long Beach, CA has blossomed into a non-profit organization with members across the globe.
Your generous donation makes it possible for us to grow, to resist and to reinvest directly back into the communities we love.
