Bio
Hi! My name is Sofia, and I’m a postpartum doula based in Los Angeles. My approach is grounded in client-centered care, empowerment through education, nonjudgmental support, cultural humility, and reproductive justice.
I became a doula because I’m passionate about reproductive health and committed to dismantling the disparities that lead to poor outcomes for marginalized communities. Supporting individuals and families through the transformative postpartum experience is the main mission of the services I provide.
I strive to provide care that is inclusive, affirming, and empowering. I also offer childbirth education, basic lactation support, and prenatal yoga in addition to emotional support, light housework, and newborn care.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading romantic comedy books, attending Pure Barr classes, biking along the LA river, and baking sweet treats!
