Hello! 
My name is Samantha Turner, Im a recent graduate of the 22nd BWOCC Doula Cohort Training (whoop!). Im so very happy to be virtually and physically connected with this network of healers, providers, and spiritual workers. Having grown up with exposure to the medical field from a young age, Ive always carried a lifelong passion for caring for others within me. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Gender Studies from Michigan State University. Also, Im currently enrolled in the California Institute for Integral Studies Women's Spirituality Masters Program. Gender and race studies, feminism, and spirituality have saved and renewed my life in so many ways. I've learned how to advocate for myself and others, how to navigate a society that's been influenced by the cruelty of colonialism, and how to restore my soul after years of pain and hopelessness. I'd love to utilize my knowledge and skills to help the most vulnerable members of my community, especially Black and Indigenous pregnant people, children, members of the LGBTQIA2s+ community, and socioeconomically disadvantaged women and non-binary peoples. Let's work together to promote a space that cultivates our collective healing, joy, rest, and creativity!
