Dara holds a Master of Science Degree in Health Psychology and is a Certified Holistic Wellness Specialist with a concentration in Emotional Wellness. She is also a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Her integrative approach blends evidence based psychological practices such as mindfulness and behavioral health techniques; with traditional and holistic modalities to nurture both the mind and spirit. Her guiding mantra, “Release what no longer serves you and watch the beauty of your life unfold,” reflects her mission to help women heal, reclaim balance, and honor their journey toward wholeness.
Dara McCoy-Hickman is a Full Spectrum Doula and Emotional Wellness Specialist dedicated to guiding women through the sacred cycles of fertility/conception, postpartum healing, and bereavement and loss.
With nearly two decades of experience in health, human services, and holistic wellness, she brings both expertise and deep compassion to every aspect of care.
As the founder of Mother Nurture Doula Services, Dara provides culturally attuned doula and emotional wellness support for women; helping them navigate life transitions with resilience and grace.
