She works closely with the rest of the Birthworkers of Color Collective to maintain her knowledge and Doula practices up to speed. Her passion has always been to support and serve marginalized communities, such as her own Indigenous community and communities of color. Yohualitztli is a community advocate and has over 20 years experience advocating for Indigenous communities and communities of People of Color. Her short term and long term goals are to continue to expand her work and knowledge as a Doula by becoming a Lactation Educator and eventually fulfilling a life-time goal of training to be a midwife. With her work, Yohualitztli hopes to help close the disproportionate gap in services during pregnancy, birth, loss and beyond for Indigenous People and People of Color.",
